Before applying for a board or commission appointment, you may wish to review background information on certain committees.
To apply for a board or commission position, please follow the directions below:
 
Obtain and complete the Application for Mayoral Appointment to a Board or Commission and submit it to the Office of Boards and Commissions. Please include Tax Forms A+B (located below) and an updated resume or biography. Many boards have similar names, so be sure to state the full and correct name of your board preference. In order to be considered for an appointment, all candidates must complete Application for Mayoral Appointment to a Board or Commission and must include:
  • Boards or commissions in which you are interested
  • Name, address, telephone number(s), ward and business information
  • Education and qualifications
  • Community activities/organizational affiliations
  • Declarations
